In January 2026, a team of students joined forces under the collaboration of the UOSU, the Sustainability Centre and Climate Justice uOttawa to begin the research that led to the report we present today. 

As the climate crisis intensifies, this report highlights our university’s continued ties to the fossil fuel industry and demonstrates why fossil fuel divestment is a necessary step toward a more just and sustainable future.
